Hi Truro Families,

We’re looking forward to the IM Carnival on Monday, July 14 at Ilda Pool! Please review the event details below and note that we still need 1 Timer and 1 Clerk of Course to hold the meet. If you can help, please sign up on SwimTopia. (Clerks will work with other clerks from each team to organize swimmers; most seeding will be done in advance to streamline the meet.)

📅 Event Details

When:

• Arrive by 4:50 PM
• Warmups at 5:05 PM
• Meet starts at 6:00 PM

Where:
Ilda Pool – 8900 Braeburn Rd, Annandale, VA

• Swimmer Drop off at the end of driveway to the pool
• Team areas will be set up in the parking lot (partially shaded).
• Look for Truro tents or refer to the attached map.
• Parking available on the street or at Canterbury Woods Elementary School.

What:
Swimmers will compete in the Individual Medley (IM):
Butterfly → Backstroke → Breaststroke → Freestyle

Additional Info:

• Swimmers should bring chairs and shoes for walking to the pool.
• A Swimmer Spectator Area will be set up at the turn end of the pool near the pump house.
• Spectator seating and concessions will be available inside the pool area.
• T-Shirts: Order here by 12 PM on 7/14 for same-day pickup at the event.
