    Dear Swordfish Families,

    At the end of the swim season, we’re filled with mixed emotions. While many of us are ready for a slower pace, we already miss the energy and connection of our amazing Swordfish community. We hope you’re enjoying some well-earned vacation time or simply soaking up the final weeks of summer!

    We want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU for the generous end-of-season gift—it was a wonderful surprise, and we truly appreciate your thoughtfulness. Special thanks to those who helped coordinate and contribute!

    Volunteer Appreciation Social – August 22

    Swimteam wouldn’t be possible without the time, energy, and dedication of our incredible volunteers. In the spirit of continuing a tradition started by last year’s team reps, we’re excited to host a Volunteer Thank You Social:

    🗓 Friday, August 22🕠 5:30 – 8:00 PM📍Truro Clubhouse

    We’ll have snacks and beverages available, and the event will be open house style—feel free to stop by anytime during the evening. We hope to see you there!

    Interested in Club Swimming This Fall?

    If your swimmer is interested in continuing their progress during the off-season, there are several year-round club swim programs in the area. These teams vary in schedule, location, and commitment level. Here are a few local options:

    Let us know if you’re exploring any of these programs—we’d be happy to connect you with a Swordfish family involved with one of the teams.

    🏅 All-Star Relay and Individual Qualifiers

    • Congratulations to our 11–12 Boys Medley Relay - Cam Pitera, CJ Mukri, Liam FLook and Caleb Kim for qualifying for the All-Star Relay meet!
    • Our 11–12 Boys Freestyle Relay - CJ Mukri, Dylan Yang, Liam Flook, and Caleb Kim also qualified, and although they were unable to compete due to weather-related cancellations, we are incredibly proud of their achievement.

    🏅 Individual All-Star Qualifiers: We’re also proud to recognize the following swimmers for qualifying for Individual All-Stars:

    • Rem Turatbekov – 50 Breaststroke
    • Anna Woody – 50 Breaststroke and 50 Individual Medley
    • Ainslee Girard – 50 Butterfly

    These accomplishments reflect the hard work, dedication, and talent of our athletes. Congratulations to all of our All-Star swimmers—we’re so proud of you!

    Thank you again for making this such a fantastic season. We’re grateful for each of you and hope to see many of you on August 22!
