Meet Schedule
Social Events
To help manage increasing demands on families, each social event has been assigned to an age group. Groups may coordinate swaps if needed. If an age group chooses not to organize its event, that event will not take place. More info will come out closer at the start of the season.
Volunteers
The Truro Swordfish Swim Team is a nonprofit run entirely by parent volunteers. Meets and social events only happen because of your support—thank you!
We are especially in need of:
- Timers
- Data Entry
- Place Recorders
- Starters
- Stroke & Turn Judges
Interested in becoming an official?Free NVSL training is available, and we strongly encourage participation—we cannot run meets without trained volunteers. (See schedule attached to this email - various training times available!)
Key Volunteer Needs
We are currently looking to fill several important roles:
- Concessions Directors – Coordinate concessions at home meets (great role to share!)
- Volunteer Coordinator – Help organize meet volunteers and fill gaps as needed
- End-of-Season Celebration Coordinator(s) – Plan and organize our final event
Thank you to those who have already stepped into roles this season like the Donut Friday Coordinator, and Family Folder Coordinator!
