First Practice is Tuesday - 5/26

    Hello Swordfish Families,

We hope you are enjoying the holiday weekend and finding ways to stay warm and dry with family and friends! We spotted a few brave Truro Swordfish at the Polar Plunge this morning, and we are definitely ready for some summer weather to make its return.

As we prepare to kick off the swim season on Tuesday, May 26, we will be closely monitoring the weather to ensure safe conditions for all swimmers. Early-season practices can sometimes be impacted by cooler temperatures, rain, or other weather conditions, and there may be occasions when practices need to be shortened or canceled.

To help families plan ahead, decisions regarding afternoon practices will be made by 12:00 PM whenever possible. Factors we consider include air temperature, water temperature, and overall weather conditions.

A few reminders for cooler-weather practices:

    * If your swimmer tends to get cold easily, especially our younger swimmers, it is absolutely fine for them to miss practice.

    * Please consider sending extra towels, warm clothing, or blankets to help swimmers warm up after practice.

If you still need to register for the season, please visit our SwimTopia site.

For families who have already registered but have not yet submitted payment, we kindly ask that you do so as soon as possible. Payment can be made through Zeffy or by check.

We are looking forward to another fun and successful season with our Swordfish families!

    Go Swordfish!
