Hi Swordfish Families,

Happy Last Day of School to all of our Swordfish swimmers who attend Fairfax County Public Schools! To allow our swimmers and families to enjoy end-of-year celebrations, practice is canceled today, Wednesday, June 17.

We look forward to seeing everyone bright and early on Thursday as we begin our summer morning practice schedule!

🏊 Practice Reminder

No practice today, Wednesday, June 17, due to the last day of school.

Morning Practices Begin Thursday, June 18

• 8 & Under: 7:45 AM – 8:30 AM
• Ages 9–12: 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM
• Ages 13–18: 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
• Mini Swordfish: 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM

🌺 Pep Rally & Luau

Friday, June 19 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Join us for our first Pep Rally of the season, planned by our amazing 11–12 Girls and parents!

Activities include:

• Luau-themed games and activities
• Swimmer of the Week recognition
• Team shirt distribution
• Chalk the parking lot

⏱️ A Meet vs. Fairfax Club Estates (Home)

Saturday, June 20

Our first A Meet of the season is this Saturday morning!

Important: Mini Swordfish do not participate in A Meets. Their first opportunity to compete will be at the first B Meet (6/22).

Meet Timeline

• Swimmers arrive: 7:50 AM
• Warm-ups begin: 8:00 AM
• Meet starts: 9:00 AM

🙋 Volunteer Reminder

If your swimmer is participating in Saturday’s meet, please sign up for a volunteer position. Parent volunteers are essential to running a successful meet and supporting our team.

Families will be notified on Thursday evening if their swimmer has been selected to swim in the meet.

🥐 Concessions

Our concession stand will be open throughout the meet and will offer:

• Breakfast burritos
• Baked goods
• Fresh fruit
• Pizza
• Drinks
