Thank you to all of the parents who have supported the team this season. From volunteering at meets to helping with socials, pep rallies, and concessions, your support makes everything we do possible. We truly appreciate all that you do for the Swordfish!

We have several fun events coming up this week, so be sure to read below for all the details.

🎨 Wednesday Social – Lucky Duck DecoratingWednesday, June 24 | 1:00 PM

Join us on the pool deck for our Lucky Duck Decorating social. We hope to see lots of swimmers there!

🌺 Pep Rally & Belly Flop Contest - Friday, June 26 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Join us for a fun-filled Pep Rally hosted by our amazing Dive Team! Come show your team spirit, cheer on your teammates, and take your best shot at the Belly Flop Contest for a chance to win some prizes.

⏱️ A Meet vs. Great Falls (Away)Saturday, June 27

Please note that Great Falls is approximately 30 minutes from Truro, so plan your travel time accordingly.

Meet Timeline

• Team caravan: Paused for this meet due to the weather forecast and timing considerations.
• Swimmers arrive: 8:00 - 8:10 AM
• Warm-ups begin: 8:25 AM
• Meet starts: 9:00 AM

Post-Meet Lunch - immediately following the meet

• Mookie's BBQ

Weather Update

We are monitoring the forecast for Saturday morning. While swim meets continue in the rain, meets must pause for heavy rain, thunder, or lightning. Our goal is to complete the meet as scheduled, as A Meets must either be completed or rescheduled. We will communicate any updates as soon as information becomes available.

🙋 Volunteer Sign-Up

If your swimmer is selected for Saturday's A Meet, please sign up for a volunteer position in SwimTopia. Parent volunteers are essential to running a successful meet and supporting our team.

Families will be notified on Thursday evening if their swimmer has been selected to swim in Saturday's meet.

Cake Bake – July 10

The annual Cake Bake is one of our swimmers' favorite traditions! To make the event a success, we need a parent volunteer to serve as the lead for each age group.

Please review the Cake Bake information and consider volunteering to represent your swimmer's age group. Your help ensures this fun and memorable event can continue for all of our swimmers.
