    Dear Swordfish Families,

    Who would have thought that we would have to deal with smoke from Canadian wildfires at our final A Meet of the season? Thank you to all of our families for helping support our swimmers and making the meet run smoothly despite the challenging conditions. And thank you, Truro Swordfish, for another incredible season of A Meets!

    What an exciting and close meet today! We were so proud to see our swimmers' incredible effort and determination as they helped keep us close to Mosby Woods. The final score was Mosby Woods 213, Truro 207—a fantastic finish to our regular-season A Meets! On to Divisionals and our end of Season Celebration - Potluck and Awards!

    We are excited to celebrate our 13–14 Boys Medley Relay once again!

    🏆 Let's go, CJ, Lucas, Grant, and Caleb! These boys broke their own record with an incredible time of 59.56 seconds!

    • The Progressive Dinner is for swimmers ages 13 and older.
    • Please RSVP in SwimTopia and check the sign-up to see what food or drinks are needed.

    🏊 IM Carnival – Monday, July 20

    • Please select your swimmer's availability by Saturday at 1.
    • Reminder: Only swimmers with qualifying legal IM times are eligible to participate.

    Please refer to our previous email for information about how the Divisionals meet is seeded. We will share the Divisionals ladder with families on Monday morning.

    Once the Divisionals lineup is finalized, we will share it with families. The meet is divided into two parts, and swimmers may have different arrival and warm-up times depending on the events in which they are competing.

    We will provide a detailed timeline so families can plan accordingly

    • 9:00 AM – 🍭 Lollipop Meet for 10 & Under swimmers not competing at Divisionals
      • Swimmers may choose three strokes.
      • Each stroke can be swum as either a 10-meter or 25-meter event.
      • Swimmers receive lollipops instead of ribbons after each event! 🍭
      • Older Swordfish swimmers will run the meet, including timing races, starting events, and managing cards.

    Saturday, July 25

    • 9:00 AM – Divisionals @ Mosby Woods
    • 5:30 PM – End-of-Season Potluck & Awards Ceremony
