One of the older swimmers' favorite events is coming up on Thursday, July 21st: Progressive Dinner! This event is for 13-18 year olds ONLY and is a potluck that moves through the neighborhood. They will start with Appetizers in the Clubhouse, have dinner at the Moreths', then finish the night with Dessert and outdoor games at the Ahrens house.

This event was started to encourage our older swimmers to stick with the team and enjoy a fancy, grown up outing. We do not have that problem this year! With 45 registered 13-18s, this is a huge group and will require more help (and possibly parent drivers) than previous years. We ask everyone to please sign up for at least one item on the list - don't forget to include serving utensils as needed for your items. We have quite a few multi-child families so the number of slots is more than the number of families. Signup can be found next to the RSVP for the event in Swimtopia.

The teens typically dress nicely for Progressive Dinner. Nice shorts and collared shirt for the guys, sundress/rompers/nice shorts for the ladies. Similar to the End of Season Banquet. They should be comfortable but I wanted those who have not attended previously not to feel underdressed.

Schedule (approximate):
Appetizers 6-6:30 at Truro Clubhouse
Dinner 6:30-7:30 at the Moreth House (4301 Starr Jordan Drive)
Dessert 7:30 at the Ahrens House (8608 Chapel Drive)

RSVPs are ESSENTIAL to making sure we have enough food and drinks for these hungry teens. Please RSVP now but NLT Monday, July 18th so we have time to adjust the menu if needed.
