A few notes on scheduling for picture day:

• No practices on photo day (Friday, June 29th).
• A bagel and juice breakfast will be served directly after the team photo.
• The photographer (Briar Creek) will begin taking individual photos at 7:50am. (Individual dive photos will also begin at 7:50am at the same time individual swim photos are being taken).
• 10 and under swimmers and/or families wanting group photos (2+ family swimmers) should arrive at 7:50am. We will start with younger swimmers and family/group photos.
• 11 and over single swimmers should arrive at the pool no later than 8:30am.
• Team photos are at roughly 8:45am. Any remaining individual photos will resume after the team photos.
• Please have swimmers enter via the side/lower parking lot gate. They will be given numbers if they will be having an individual swim team photo taken (other than team photo).
• While it isn't mandatory, swimmers/divers generally wear their Truro "team" suit for picture day.
• We've attached the order form that you can print, complete and bring with you (or send with your older swimmer) on Friday. Please write SWIM TEAM or DIVE TEAM next to their order item number. Forms will also be available on Friday and the photographer will have samples of photo products to view.
• Please remember to send payment. Families may pay using Visa, MasterCard, cash or checks written to 'Briar Creek Photography'.
• All Swordfish ages 12 & under MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian/care provider. Please do not drop 12 & under children off.

There will be a Pizza Lunch on Tuesday, 6/26 for all Mini-Swordfish and the Minis Coaches! Pizza will arrive at 11:45, so please plan to stay after minis practice and play for a while, and then stay for lunch.

We need your help in 2 ways to make sure we have enough food for everyone:

1. Please RSVP on Swimtopia for the event! RSVP YES for everyone (including siblings/parents) who will be eating pizza, so that we are sure to order enough. If you have a sibling who is not on swim team (so not in Swimtopia for an RSVP), please email me at [email protected] to let me know how many will be joining us. The team will cover the cost of the pizzas for the mini-swordfish and the coaches. Siblings and parents are welcome to join in, too, for $2 per person! You can pay cash to Vicki Mansuy on the day of the lunch!

2.Please sign up to help if you can. We need people to bring desserts (single serving, such as cookies, brownies or rice krispie treats), bring drinks (juice boxes), and bring plates and napkins. One I have an approximate headcount, I’ll let volunteers know how many of each item we’ll need. You may submit receipts to the team to be reimbursed for anything you purchase for this event!

Let's kick off our swim season with a delicous potluck! Share yummy food and get to know each other! We will also be providing an opportunity for the kids to work together for a community service project.  We will also be collecting food items for a local teen shelter with a goal of 100 emergency meal bags.  Please sign up to bring something to share for the potluck and the items listed that are needed for the shelter. 

Items will be donated to Second Story Shelter. Second Story provides over 400 snacks to the youth in their programs each week. Our help in collecting these items is a tremendous help, allowing Second Story to continue this effort.
