Parents of Teen Swimmers ~

Progressive Dinner is one of the older swimmers' favorite events and a rite of passage. This year it will be held on Wednesday, July 19 so SAVE THE DATE! This event is for 13-18 year olds ONLY and is a potluck that moves through the neighborhood. They will start with appetizers at the Hymans', have dinner at the Moreths', then finish the night with dessert and outdoor games at our house.

This event was started to encourage our older swimmers to stick with the team and enjoy a fancy, grown up outing. We have achieved that goal and have quite a large group of teen swimmers this year. I will be sending a Signup genius in the next few days and ask everyone to please sign up for at least one item on the list - don't forget to include serving utensils as needed for your items.

The teens typically dress nicely for Progressive Dinner. Nice shorts and collared shirt for the guys, sundress/rompers/nice shorts for the ladies. Similar to the End of Season Banquet. They should be comfortable but I wanted those who have not attended previously not to feel underdressed.

Schedule (approximate):
Appetizers 6:30-7:15 at the Hymans' (8924 Stark Road)
Dinner 7:15-8:15 at the Moreth's (4301 Starr Jordan Drive)
Dessert 8:15-10 at the Ahrens' (8608 Chapel Drive)

RSVPs are ESSENTIAL to making sure we have enough food and drinks for these hungry teens. Please RSVP now so we have time to adjust the menu if needed.
